The Detroit News reports that Kid Rock has added 2 more shows at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Detroit to his schedule, taking the total shows at the venue to 8.
After tickets for Rock’s announced run of six concerts at DTE Energy Music Theatre sold out in minutes on Tuesday, promoters have announced two more DTE shows, Aug. 18 and 19. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, for $20 at the Palace of Auburn Hills box office and participating Walmart locations and online with applicable fees.
This ties Kid Rock’s venue-record run of eight shows at DTE in 2013. There is space in Rock’s schedule for even more shows to be added and DTE doesn’t have anything else scheduled at the venue until the 24th when the Foo Fighters have a show there.
Meanwhile, Kid Rock’s new album ‘First Kiss’ which was released today is currently the best selling album on Amazon.com and #4 on iTunes.
